    This cedar walking cane was carved by Charles "CeCe" Williams, the 1997 winer of the Jean Laney Harris Folk Heritage Award for Cast Net Making and Cane Carving. It is decorated on the front, upper section with a carved heart (app. 2"). Immediately below the heart is a carved reptile (app. 11.5"). The legs and tail of the lizard (or alligator) wrap around the cane while its torso, head, and mouth appear entirely on the front of the cane. Just...
