Object Description |
Six marine, turbinate snail shells. The shells are brown in color, except for specimen 21-087.3, which is pink in color. Each shell has five rounded whorls with deep sutures. The ornamentation consists of subtle horizontal color bands varying from light to dark. The shell exteriors are smooth with vertical striations or growth lines along each whorl. The shells are dextral, with oval-shaped apertures. Accompanying the shells, are three small opercula. The three opercula are dark brown in color. |
