Object Description |
One large sea snail with detached operculum. The shell is tan with low knobs or spines protruding from the shoulder toward the apex. The shell is dextral with five whorls and shallow sutures. The operculum is brown with striae, giving the appearance of growth lines. The exterior of the shell is covered in numerous worm casings. The shell is dextral with an oval shaped aperture and an elongated siphonal canal. |
