Aggregate of thin, dark blue tabular azurite crystals forming a rounded hollow geode, with smaller dark blue bladed crystals inside. The outside of the geode has red clay coating. This sample is included in the Catalogue of the Collection of Minerals in the College of S. C. and can be found on page 126. It was a part of the college's original acquisition from Thomas Cooper in 1821. |
