Object Description |
Four freshwater mussel valves, two complete specimens. The exteriors of these irregularly shaped valves are dark brown with visible striae which seem raised causing the outer potions of the valves to have subtle ridges. There are irregular dips in the edges that make round pointed lips. The interiors are pearlescent white with visible muscle scars and wide ventral margins. |
