Object Description |
Two valves comprising one complete specimen. The shells are tan to ivory in color, with a silver to white color inside. The shells are translucent, indicating a thin periostracum. The shells have patches of brown periostracum near their edges. The shells are elongated and are covered with fine irregular concentric growth lines and striations. The shells are triangular in shape. The shells have very shallow muscle scars and very small hinge teeth. The shells have slightly pointed posterior edges and rounded anterior edges. |
