Object Description |
This lithograph button was created to support Dwight D. "Ike" Eisenhower's presidential campaign. The top section of the button is red, the middle section is white, and the bottom section is blue. In the middle white section, in blue, is printed "I LIKE/ IKE". On the curl, to the left of the "I" in "IKE" is the union label for the Amalgamated Lithographers of America. On the curl to the right of the "E" in "IKE" is the union bug for the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association. Both union labels are printed in blue. |
