Small specimen of bright salmon pink orthoclase feldspar with colorless translucent bladed barite emanating from it. The barite crystals are almost completely covered with a crust of malachite, giving them a green appearance. This sample is included in the Catalogue of the Collection of Minerals in the College of S. C. and can be found on page 14. |
