Object Description |
Six freshwater mussel valves, three complete specimens. The exteriors are dark brown with visible striae. The two larger valves (21.363A.1 & 2) are white at the umbos (due to flaking from wear). The interiors of the two larger valves are pearlescent pink. The four smaller valves' interiors are a pearlescent white. Muscle scars are visible on all shells and all have wide ventral margins. |
