Object Description |
Twelve turbinate, marine snail shells. The shells are light-tan to white in color consisting of approximately four to five whorls each. The whorls contain spiral ridges that encircle the exterior of the shell. Raised costae travel vertically down the length of the shell. The vertical costae dip at each groove. The shells are dextral, with "teardrop" shaped apertures that extend basally into the siphonal canal. |
