Object Description |
This is a small cylindrical tin container with a press-on lid. The container has a dark patina throughout with the exception of the top and bottom sides and the seam along the side, where it still possesses a metallic sheen. The container is filled with birdshot. The container is believed to have once held percussion caps, as it was found in the same compartment as a mostly disintegrated circular paper label for "COX's / BEST STRONG / Anti-Corrosive / PERCUSSION CAPS". |
