Object Description |
Two freshwater mussel valves, one complete specimen. The exteriors are light brown and fade to a dark brown and white near the umbo (due to the loss of periostracum due to wear). The exteriors are also covered with growth lines. The interiors are white with areas of iridescent coloration and visible muscle scars. |
