Several large (2-2.5 centimeter diameter) botryoidal of black to brown fibrous siderite on fine grained black matrix, probably basalt. Three large masses are nearly spherical. This sample is included in the Catalogue of the Collection of Minerals in the College of S. C. and can be found on page 115. |
