Object Description |
Four valves comprising two complete freshwater mussel specimens. The valves are very rounded giving them a circular shape. The exterior of the valves are light brown in color and have color bands of darker brown that spread across the valves. Also on the exterior of the valves are horizontal growth lines that radiate from the hinge of the valves to the edges of the valves. The interior of the valves are white in color with a glossy pearlescent hue. |
