Object Description |
Quilt with 9 white blocks appliqued in "Rose of Sharon" variation. Flowers have tan centers; brown and pink petals; dark green leaves and stems. 3 buds are on each block. Blocks are separated with tan stripping. Entire quilt bordered with chintz strips. Chintz has tan background pink flowers and blue leaves. Cotton batting backing is off white. Piece work done by hand, quilting stitches are small and even. On the corner written with pen: "Adella Hays." |
