Clusters of white opaque tabular crystals with several colorless transparent hexagonal quartz crystals, all on a matrix of layered massive quartz, barite, and unknown material. This sample is included in the Catalogue of the Collection of Minerals in the College of S. C. and can be found on page 15. It was a part of the college's original acquisition from Thomas Cooper in 1821. |
