Object Description |
This is a print on handmade paper, which is very pale pink with various colored fibers throughout. The edges of the sheet are irregular and the composition does not extend to the edges of the sheet, except at bottom. It is abstract and vertically oriented. The composition can be divided into 3 horizontal zones. All zones are heavily layered with horizontal lines of hash marks, "x"s and "( )" marks. The dominant visual effect of the top zone is light green. The dominant visual effect of the middle zone is blue. The dominant visual effect of the bottom zone is pink and blue. The marks create a fringe-like effect at the top and bottom. Many colors are used throughout the piece. "ADI Blue", "18/28", and "Mullen" are written in pencil at the top. There is a large margin of paper at top. Two holes are punched on the left and right edges, approximately 6.000" down from the top of the sheet. |
