Object Description |
Four valves comprising two complete freshwater mussel specimens. The exteriors are varying shades of brown with a thick periostracum that is flaking in areas due to wear. The valves are covered with a brown sandy substance that gives them a rusty appearance. The valves have pointed posterior edges and rounded anterior edges. |
