Object Description |
One turbinate, marine snail shell. The shell is white in color. There are proximately four whorls; though accurate accounting is difficult. Tiny holes appear throughout the shell. The ornamentation consists of striae both vertical and horizontal resulting in a grid pattern of raided nodules.and growth bands. The shell is dextral, with an elongated, oval-shaped aperture and a siphonal notch. |
