Object Description |
One turriform, marine snail shell. The shell has five whorls and is glossy off-white, gray in color and is translucent. It is textured, with deep sutures between whorls. On each whorl, axial constae are crossed by spiral striae creating nodules where they intersect creating a reticulate pattern of deep rectangles on the shell. The shell is dextral, with a "teardrop" shaped aperture. |
