Object Description |
One turriform, marine snail shell. The shell is off-white with some spots of very faint, tan markins. There are ten whorls with the sutures becoming increasingly shallow nearing the apex. Each whorl has very prominent nodules that increase in size towards the body whorl. The shell is covered in growth lines and striations, with raised striae near the aperture. The shell is dextral with an ellipse shaped aperture. The outer lip of the aperture is irregular with scalloped edges and a siphonal notch. |
