Object Description |
Small isolated whelk. Externally the shell is inflated with prominent knobs along the shoulder of the spire. The aperture is ovate with a long siphonal canal below. The outer lip of the aperture is broken in this specimen and the body whorl is smooth at the largest inflated portion, however this may be due to abrasion. |
