  2. Aporrhais pespelecani

    Four turriform shaped marine snail shells with a multi-pointed outer lip. The shells are off-white and light tan in color. The shells have eight whorls separated by deep sutures and nodules on each whorl. The apertures appear narrow and oddly shaped.

  3. Architectonica perspectiva

    Four lenticular, marine snail shells. The shells are tan in color with thin brown and white color bands. Brown dashes and growth lines spiral with the shells whorls, with the same dash pattern on the bases and inside of the umbilici. The shells have approximately five whorls that reach a flattened apex. The shells are dextral with oval shaped apertures. The umbilici are completely open and there appears to be denticles that wind up the umbilici.

  4. Bulla striata

    Forty-two marine snail shells. The colors of the shells range from off-white to different shades of gray and light purple. Most of the shells are marked with dots of purple or tan, some with large spots of purple on them. The shells are dextral and the apertures exceed the length of the shells past the apex. The lip of the apertures is thin and both ends of the shells are rounded.

  5. Calliostoma zizyphinum

    Four trochoid saltwater snail shells. The shells are light tan and cream-white in color. The shells have six to seven whorls with visible striae and shallow sutures. The shells are dextral with oval shaped apertures and a closed umbilici.

  6. Cerithium sp.

    Three turriform, marine snail shells. The shells are tan and grey. A representative shell shows seven whorls. The shells are dextral with semi-circular apertures and thin lips. The shell is ornamented with large ribs that stay together as a mostly straight line, as well as a series of striations which are easily identified with their brown coloration.

  7. Chlorostoma argyrostomum

    One lenticular, marine snail shell. The shell is dark gray to nearly black in color with four whorls and slightly raised striae appearing vertically up the whorls. A black band (possibly a stain) appears on the body whorl. The apertural side is cream and dark purple with and emerald green spot at the closed umbilicus. The shell is dextral with a "D" shaped aperture.

  8. Clanculus pharaonius

    Two trochoid marine snail shells. The exteriors are a dull pink and covered with small black and white nodules. The interiors are white. The shells have six whorls and deep, well-defined sutures. The dextral shells have oval shaped apertures, thick apertural lips, and large teeth inside the apertures.

  9. Clypeomorus bifasciata

    Two turbinate, marine snail shells. The shells are tan in color with five whorls and shallow sutures. The shells are ornamented with dark brown dashes creating the appearance of lines that move vertically up the shell. Very fine striations, uniform in size, are present and ribs appear in an irregular pattern. The shells are dextral with elliptical shaped apertures, thin lips and siphonal notches.

  10. Littorina littorea

    Three turbinate, marine snail shells. The shells are tan in color with darker areas. There are seven whorls with varying suture depth. The largest shell has very deep sutures while the smaller shells have very shallow sutures. The shells are ornamented with very shallow striae that are close together and create lines of lighter colors. The shells are dextral with elliptical shaped apertures and thin lips.

  11. Lunella torquata

    One large lenticular saltwater marine snail shell. The shell light brown, tan, and gray. There are two whorls with visibly deep striae running from the sutures to the outer edge. There appears to be worm casings on the dorsal side. The shell is dextral with a circular shaped aperture and an open, deep umbilicus.

    Eight valves comprising four complete saltwater clam specimens. The shells are thin and triangular in shape. The exterior coloration consists of a light tan base with slightly darker concentric growth lines. Color radiating bands extend from the beak to the outer margins. The margins are smooth.     Six turriform, marine snail shells. The shells are off-white to light gray in color with approximately seven whorls and very shallow sutures. The shells are dextral with high spires. The apertures of the shells are tear-drop shaped and the umbilici are completely closed.

    Three valves comprising one complete clam shell and one loose valve. The valves are fan shaped. The exteriors of the shells are off-white in color and have radiating horizontal striations that darken toward the edges. The interiors of the shells are white with a glossy appearance. The posterior and anterior margins are smooth and rounded.

    One complete marine bivalve (heavily damaged). The shells are an elongated bean shape and off-white in color with spots of darker brown, periostracum, near the edges. There are faint radiating striations that follow the curvature of the shell that cover the exterior. The interior of the shell is also an off-white color. The posterior and anterior margins of the shells are smooth and rounded.

  16. Phasianella solida

    Three turbinate, marine snail shells. The shells are tan with six whorls and deep sutures. Ornamentation consists of very light striations which grow less pronounced approaching the apex eventually becoming smooth near the apex. Two small wrinkles appear near the base of the shells. The shells are dextral with elliptical apertures and thin lips.

  17. Rhinoclavis aspera

    One turriform, marine snail shell. The shell is grey with ten whorls and deep sutures. The ornamentation consists of ribs that become smaller approaching the apex and nodules that also decrease in size approaching the apex. The shell is dextral with a semi-circular aperture and thick lips that are slightly reflected back on the base of the shell.

  18. Scaphander lignarius

    One bulloid, marine snail shell. There are no whorls on this shell. The shell is tan, with a border of white around the outside. The growth lines are dark red and brown. The inside of the shell is white. The shell is dextral, with an elongated teardrop-shaped aperture.

  19. Telescopium telescopium

    One conical, marine snail shell. The shell is off-white to tan in color with signs previously being a dark brown. The shell has approximately nine whorls, extremely shallow sutures and forms a very tight cone shape. The shell has faint growth lines and striations that cover its exterior.   20. Turbo cornutus

    One large lenticular marine saltwater snail shell. The shell is a dark reddish-brown with four whorls. The ornamentation consists of costae that run from body whorl to apex and large spines on the body whorl which get larger toward the aperture. The shell is dextral with an almost perfectly circular aperture. The inside of the aperture is pearlescent tan with a pink and green sheen.

  21. Turbo setosus

    Two globose, marine snail shells. The exteriors are tan in color and have horizontal dashes of gray to dark green that follow the curvature of the shells. The exteriors are also covered with raised spiral striae. The shells are dextral with approximately four whorls, circular apertures and slightly reflected outer lips.

  22. Turritella bicingulata

    One turriform, marine snail shell. The shell has tightly coiled whorls which form an elongated cone. Coloration is light brown to brown. Each shell has seven whorls separated by deep sutures. Each whorl has horizontal and vertical striations, and irregular vertical color banding that varies in color from white to brown. The shell is dextral, with an oval-shaped aperture with a sharp outer lip.

    Two turriform, marine snail shells. The shells are dark brown in color. The intact shell has eleven whorls while the damaged shell shows only eight whorls; both have shallow sutures. The shells have thin lips and are adorned with large, upward pointing spines that become smaller as the whorls approach the apices. The shells are dextral with oval shaped apertures.
