Object Description |
Two flattened oval, abalone marine snail shells. The dorsal side is a dark tan with a highly irridescent white, yellow, and pink (mother of pearl) ventral side. The largest specimen has five open and six closed respiratory apertures with the smaller having six open and five closed respiratory apertures. Growth lines are visible as well as malleations and striae that radiate from the apex. |
