Object Description |
Two convex, oval-shaped abalone shells. The exterior is dark brown to grey and is covered with striations and growth lines. The interior is varying shades of iridescent greens and purples (mother of pearl) and also shows faint growth lines and striations. There are five open and four closed respiratory apertures along the anterior margins. Two whorls are present with the body whorl being the largest and auriform in shape. |
